EzzyCommerce Store Pvt. Ltd. respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect when you shop with us, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

1. Who we are

2. Information we collect

We only collect what we need to run the store and fulfil your orders.

• Account details — your name, email address, phone number and password. Passwords are stored as one-way cryptographic hashes and are never readable by us or our staff.
• Order and delivery details — shipping and billing address, items purchased, order value and order history.
• Payment information — handled entirely by our payment gateway. We receive only a transaction reference and its status. We never see or store your full card number, CVV or UPI PIN.
• Technical data — IP address, browser type, device type and pages viewed, used to keep the site secure and working correctly.
• Communications — messages you send us through the contact page, email or phone, kept so we can follow up on your query.

3. How we use your information

• To process, pack, ship and deliver your orders.
• To send transactional messages — order confirmation, dispatch and delivery updates, and refund notifications. These are not marketing and cannot be opted out of while an order is active.
• To let you sign in, view past orders and manage saved addresses and your wishlist.
• To respond to your support requests, returns and complaints.
• To detect fraud, prevent abuse and keep the store secure.
• To meet our tax, accounting and other legal obligations.
• To send offers and new-arrival emails — only where you have opted in. Every marketing email carries a one-click unsubscribe link.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. We share it only with parties who help us complete your order, and only to the extent they need it:

• Courier and logistics partners — your name, delivery address and phone number, so your parcel can be delivered.
• Payment gateway — to authorise your payment and process refunds.
• Hosting and IT providers — who store the site and its database on our behalf under contract.
• Government or law enforcement — where we are legally required to disclose information.

All partners are bound to use your data only for the service they provide to us.

5. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies:

• Essential cookies — keep you signed in and remember your shopping bag. The store cannot work without these.
• Preference cookies — remember choices such as your recently viewed items.
• Analytics cookies — tell us which pages are visited so we can improve the store. These are aggregated and not used to identify you personally.

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, sign-in and checkout will stop working.

6. How long we keep your data

Order records are retained for eight years to satisfy Indian tax and accounting requirements. Account details are kept while your account is open. If you close your account, we delete or anonymise your personal details within 90 days, except for the order records we are legally required to retain.

7. How we protect your data

The site is served over encrypted HTTPS. Passwords are hashed, database access is restricted to the application, and administrative access requires a separate login. No system is perfectly secure, but we review our safeguards regularly and act promptly on any issue.

8. Your rights

You can ask us to:

• Show you the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct anything inaccurate — most details can be edited directly from My Account.
• Delete your account and associated personal data, subject to the retention rules in section 6.
• Stop sending you marketing messages.

9. Children

The store is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us their details, contact us and we will remove them.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, the revised version appears on this page with an updated date at the top. Significant changes will also be emailed to registered customers.
